Tomi Talk and Screening in Dublin!

We're thrilled to share the news that Tomi will be making a rare public appearance in Dublin on May 1st, at the Alliance Française's Comic Book Festival!

Illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs of Illustrators Ireland will chat with legendary author Tomi Ungerer about his life's adventures. With all that's going on in the world at the moment, you'll be inspired to hear Tomi’s views on spreading ideas of identity, justice and coexistence in his children's books. The talk will be followed by a screening of Far Out Isn't Far Enough : The Tomi Ungerer Story.

This documentary depicts Ungerer's wild, lifelong adventure of testing societal boundaries through his use of subversive art. The film combines traditional documentary storytelling with original animation from over 70 years worth of art from the renegade children's book author and illustrator. Read our recent interview with the film's director Brad Bernstein to whet your appetite!

This event is FREE but tickets are limited, so be sure to book!
